Patient Service Representative Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 16.00 to $ 18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Provide outstanding customer service to patients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Assist patients with questions about their bills, insurance coverage, payment options, and account balances.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing and insurance issues efficiently.
• Process payments and set up payment plans according to patient needs.
• Accurately document patient interactions and update account information in our system.
• Adhere to privacy laws (i.e. HIPAA) and company policies to protect patient information.

Patient Service Representative Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or medical billing environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance, billing practices, and patient payment processes preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive patient interactions with compassion and professionalism.
• Proficiency in computer systems and experience with electronic health records (EHR) or billing software preferred.
