Produce Lead → Production Supervisor

Role Overview This position involves leading daily department operations in a retail store, primarily in the absence of the department manager. The focus is on training associates, maintaining staffing levels, ensuring adherence to company standards, and achieving key performance indicators. Key Responsibilities Order, monitor, and control inventory to ensure product freshness, quality, and minimize loss. Validate received shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper storage. Manage a team to complete stocking, production, and quality tasks, including date-sensitive rotation and handling damaged products. Maintain familiarity with all store products, sales, and promotional features. Implement company plans, communicate priorities, and support scheduling, labor control, and payroll management. Assist in staffing, training, performance management, and development of associates. Participate in meetings and uphold store appearance, safety, food safety, and guest experience standards. Assist with other departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates leadership, strategic planning, and business acumen. Knowledge of retail operations and management systems; suggestive selling preferred. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; bilingual ability in Spanish is a plus. Physical and Other Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and environments.
