About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701!
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients throughout each shift
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain compliance with facility onboarding requirements, including completion of core items and modules during orientation
- Active RN license (State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal)
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Candidates must not reside in the following counties at time of submittal: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
- Previous staff employees must wait 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
- All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience working in an ICU or critical care environment
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Flexible scheduling with 36 or 48 hour weekly options to fit your lifestyle
