Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: State or Compact license required Certifications: - ACLS - BLS - NIHSS Must-Have: - Neuro experience required - Travel experience preferred - Float required in ICU/IMC/Tele as needed Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in Neuro ICU. Shifts will be nights, working three 12-hour shifts per week. The nurse will provide care for adult patients with neurological conditions. Experience in neuro intensive care, including post-craniotomy and spinal cord injury management, is necessary. The nurse will manage ventilated patients and perform central line care. Skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and monitoring intracranial pressure are essential. Weekend shifts are required, with a patient ratio of 2:1 during nights. Staffing and interdisciplinary support will be available in the unit. Candidates must possess strong critical thinking and communication skills. Compliance with core onboarding requirements and module completion is expected. All travel requirements must be met prior to contract signing.
