This role involves working in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. Patient ratios are typically 1:2. The ideal candidate will have experience with critical care patients. Skills required include management of ventilated patients and administration of IV medications. Experience with advanced procedures such as ECMO and arterial line management is a plus. The unit sees a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates should be comfortable with patient monitoring and care of individuals with multisystem organ failure. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this position.
