Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios of 2-3 - Travel experience required - Proficiency in Epic charting system required Description: This position is for a Medical-Surgical ICU. The nurse will work 3x12-hour night shifts. Patient ratios will be 1:2 during night shifts. Travel experience is preferred along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU nursing. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with chronic and acute conditions. Experience with various procedures such as blood product administration and ventilator management is essential. Skills in interpreting arterial blood gases and managing multiple organ dysfunction are also necessary. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various services, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Daily census in the unit is approximately 14 patients with a total of 16 beds available. Candidates must comply with the essential job requirements as outlined.
