Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs within an outpatient clinic setting
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
• Guide and monitor patient care across all aspects of treatment and follow-up, including accurate chart documentation
• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Adhere to HIPAA policies and procedures and maintain familiarity with PT billing practices including ICD-10 coding

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California (or active plans to obtain licensure in the near future)
• Degree in Physical Therapy
• Ability to maintain and update PT skills and certifications as necessary
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and familiarity with PT billing procedures (Medicare, workers' comp, private pay, auto, liens, cash pay)
• Computer skills sufficient to meet job requirements, including EMR, Microsoft Word, and internet use
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, assist with patient transfers, and remain mobile during 8–10 hour workdays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Continuing education coursework relevant to physical therapy practice
• Experience supervising PT Assistants and Aides in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with outpatient/rehabilitation clinic workflows and front office coordination
