Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel Contract

Arroyo Grande, CA | Acute Rehab Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 8-Hour Shifts, 5 Days per Week | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to patients within an Acute Rehab Unit (ARU) setting
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized patient treatment plans in alignment with rehab goals
• Document patient progress and clinical notes accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab team members to coordinate patient care
• Monitor and adjust treatment approaches based on patient response and clinical outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of California
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Proficiency or ability to work with Cerner EMR
• Ability to work independently within an acute rehab environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
• Experience with inpatient rehab populations and interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Familiarity with Smart Rehab facility workflows
