About the Role:
The Clinical Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality healthcare services within a clinical setting. This position is responsible for managing home health aides, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing patient care processes to achieve excellent outcomes. The Clinical Manager collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement clinical protocols, improve operational efficiency, and foster a patient-centered environment. They also monitor clinical performance metrics and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. Ultimately, the Clinical Manager ensures that the facility meets both regulatory standards and the evolving needs of patients and staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or therapy program. Bachelors degree required.
- Current, active Pennsylvania license in applicable discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of home health, hospice or rehabilitation clinical experience required.
- At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical best practices.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinical data management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with quality improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation in a healthcare setting.
- Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including outpatient, inpatient, or community health settings.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise clinical staff including nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery.
- Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate with medical directors and department heads to align clinical operations with organizational goals and patient care standards.
- Manage staffing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations to maintain a skilled and motivated clinical team.
- Oversee patient care quality assurance activities, analyze clinical data, and initiate corrective actions to improve outcomes.
- Facilitate communication between clinical staff, administration, and external stakeholders to support seamless healthcare delivery.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of clinical activities, incidents, and compliance audits.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in clinical services, including adoption of new technologies and evidence-based practices.

Problem-solving skills enable the manager to address operational challenges and implement process enhancements. Additionally, knowledge of healthcare regulations and clinical best practices ensures that care delivery meets established standards and patient safety is prioritized.
