Job Title: Lecturer, Accelerated BSN Track Department: Instruction, College of Nursing College/Division: College Of Nursing Primary Job Posting Location: Atlanta, GA 30341 Job Details: Mercer University’s Georgia Baptist College of Nursing seeks applications for a non‑tenure track, full‑time, 12‑month lecturer position. The Lecturer will teach in the second‑degree accelerated BSN program with a portion of time allocated for service. The successful candidate will have on‑campus faculty responsibilities. Responsibilities: Teach courses in the second‑degree accelerated BSN program. Engage with students, prepare instructional materials, and contribute to the educational mission of the College of Nursing. Required Qualifications: Master’s in nursing from an accredited university/college Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia Minimum of two years full‑time academic experience (five years preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Philosophy commensurate with Mercer University’s mission and values Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in the online academic environment Practice experience in the specialty areas of psychiatric mental health and/or women’s health Familiarity with CCNE accreditation standards Background Check: Selection of final candidate is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
