In addition, will verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. Job Responsibilities Implement the daily/weekly production schedule through communication and follow-up with process leads Assist in planning and communicating project related information Interface with all facets of the operation: manufacturing, sales, safety, customers and other related personnel in and out of the company Promote awareness for safety programs/initiatives Monitor costs; explain variances and month-to-month variation / changes Investigate and recommend improvements including tracking improvements Respond to sales and manufacturing teams' needs Compare information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records Operate forklifts to stack and retrieve supplies and materials Document and maintain inventory and ensuring production area organization and cleanliness Receive, unpack and examine incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages Check and store merchandise or materials Fill requisition and orders Pack, crate, and ship products out to distribution centers, departments, or assembly lines Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications Perform loading and unloading of outgoing and incoming shipments Retrieve finished goods from inventory and stages shipments Operate tier lift truck to load and unload trucks Other duties may be assigned as needed Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to read / write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Training and/or forklift experience necessary Ability to lift up to 40lbs What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
