Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as strong memorization skills. Set up banquet rooms according to event order, including linens, silverware, glassware, and décor. Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff. Engage with customers in a friendly manner. Maintain cleanliness of event spaces throughout service. Work closely with the Banquet Captain and team to ensure flawless execution of events Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes. Break down and reset banquet rooms following events. Follow all safety, sanitation, and service standards. Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with other staff. Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner. Ability to lift 20 lbs or more. Willing to stand or walk for extended periods. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS At least 1 year experience in a banquet environment. Country club experience is a plus. High School Diploma or GED Full and Part-time position are available Must be able to work weekends and holidays Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as strong memorization skills.
