Your responsibilities will include: Prepare operating rooms and ensure surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized, assembled, and functioning properly Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and passing sterile instruments, sutures, and supplies Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout all surgical procedures Identify and communicate any breaks in sterile field protocol immediately Handle specimens appropriately and prepare them for laboratory processing Clean, restock, and reset operating rooms between procedures Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment Support a safe, organized, and patient-centered surgical environment Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient surgical flow What You Bring Current Surgical Technology certification required Current Cardiac Life Support (CLS/BLS/ACLS as applicable) certification required Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology training program Minimum of 1 year of operating room experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills What Makes You Successful in This Role We’re looking for someone who: Has a genuine passion for patient care Maintains high standards for infection prevention and safety Communicates professionally and respectfully with team members and physicians Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to grow professionally Works efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy and focus Contributes positively to a collaborative team culture We believe in investing in our people. Physical Requirements & Work Environment This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 15 pounds regularly, and working in a surgical environment with exposure to standard healthcare-related risks, including bloodborne pathogens, surgical equipment, chemicals, and sharp instruments.
