Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for delivering aluminum to the casting floor at the correct temperature and on time. You will also be tasked with cleaning and removing dross from melting and holding furnaces, operating and maintaining all related equipment such as sit-down forklifts, and performing full furnace inspections to ensure proper operation. Completing required paperwork per work instructions is also a crucial part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver aluminum to the casting floor at temperature, in specification, and on time.
• Clean and remove dross from melting and holding furnaces.
• Operate and maintain all related equipment in accordance with training and established procedures.
• Perform full furnace inspections daily to ensure proper operation of all furnace systems.
• Complete required paperwork per work instructions.

Shift Hours and Pay

1st: 7:00am-3:00pm (21/hr)

2nd: 3:00pm-11:00pm (21 + 1 premium)

3rd: 11:00pm-7:00am (21+1 premium)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Madison,WI.
