Appointment Setting Manager – Inside Sales Team Lead

Goldman & Co. | Full-Time | [Base + Monthly Override/Bonus — OTE $120,000-128,000]

Goldman & Co. is a growing private capital and payments firm. We provide business funding and payments solutions to small and mid-sized businesses across the country. Our inside sales team books the appointments that drive our entire sales floor, and we need a proven leader to run it.

The Role
You’ll own the appointment setting department from end to end: hiring, training, daily performance, and the quality of every appointment that reaches our closers. You will manage merchant communication from the first call until our rep walks through the door. You’ll report directly to the VP of Deal Origination.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of 10 appointment setters to daily dial, contact, and set targets
• Run daily huddles, call reviews, and live floor coaching
• Interview and hire setters in person, and deliver our two-day setter training class
• Own appointment quality so that merchants are qualified, confirmed, and show up
• Manage merchant communication on booked appointments up to the closer’s arrival
• Execute sales incentive programs and contests alongside our closing managers
• Track and report team KPIs, including set rate, show rate, and quality
• Coordinate with closing managers and outside appointment partners to keep closers’ calendars full

What You Bring

• 2+ years leading an appointment setting, SDR, BDR, or inside sales team
• A track record of hitting team targets, with numbers to show for it
• Experience hiring and developing entry-level sales talent
• Comfort with high-volume outbound phone sales and CRM reporting
• Merchant cash advance, business lending, or merchant services experience is a strong plus
• A calm, direct, accountable leadership style. You lead from the floor, not an office.
