Company Description Dixie Southern has been a leader in custom carbon steel and stainless‑steel plate fabrication since 1976, delivering complex, heavy industrial components for customers across the United States. The company designs and fabricates ASME pressure vessels, steel tanks, autoclaves, heavy welded ductwork, large diameter and process piping, bins, silos, hoppers, towers, turbine towers, and other custom steel plate structures. Its in‑house services include design and engineering, welding, post‑weld heat treatment, non‑destructive examination, and painting, coating, and lining. Dixie Southern serves a wide range of industries, including water and waste treatment, oil, gas and chemicals, mining and minerals, aerospace, food and beverage processing, power generation, agriculture, and pulp and paper. The company maintains key certifications such as ASME Section VIII (Divisions 1 & 2) with “U”, “R”, and “S” code stamps, and adheres to ASME, API, AWWA, and AWS standards. Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Project Manager role based in Duette, FL. The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle for custom steel plate fabrication projects, from engineering, fabrication, testing, delivery, and project closeout. Responsibilities include developing project plans and schedules, coordinating with engineering, production, quality, and safety teams, and ensuring projects meet scope, budget, and timeline commitments. The role involves managing customer communication, clarifying technical requirements and specifications, handling change orders, and providing regular status updates and documentation. The Project Manager will also track project costs, mitigate risks, support compliance with ASME and other industry standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes. Qualifications Project planning and execution skills, including scheduling, cost tracking, risk management, and change control for multiple concurrent projects. Experience managing fabrication, construction, or industrial projects, preferably involving pressure vessels, tanks, piping, or heavy welded structures. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWWA, AWS). Strong communication and client‑facing skills, with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams and collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and safety personnel. Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Project or similar, Excel, Word, and collaboration tools). Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines and contractual requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
