Outside Sales Representative, New Business

Job Title

Two or more years of business-to-business outside sales with a record of closing new accounts. Telecom, IT services, office equipment or software sales are a strong plus.

A hunter who is comfortable cold-calling and walking into businesses, and organized enough to work a pipeline every week.

The ability to explain technology in plain language to a non-technical buyer. We will train you on the product and the industry; you bring the selling.

A valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel daily within the territory.

Based within commuting distance of Lake in the Hills, Illinois.

How You Are Paid

Base salary of $54,000, paid semi-monthly.

Commission of 10% of each account's monthly recurring revenue for its first twelve months, then 7% for as long as the account stays and pays. Paid monthly on collected revenue, with no cap.

$5,000 performance bonus for a year at 120% of quota or better.

$5,000 retention bonus at your 24-month and 36-month anniversaries when the prior year met quota.

Commission on circuits, equipment and one-time services in addition to the above.
