QA Engineer

QA EngineerLocation: Grand Rapids, MIDuration: 5+ monthsPay Rate: $65/HR C2C (No OPT/CPT and Third party H1's)Interview Type: PS + VideoRequired Skills:This individual will be testing a variety of proprietary handheld devices that have an LCD screen embedded within the device and when the user interacts, it sends commands to a computer. Before a new firmware version is released to the public, this team is responsible for testing that new firmware to ensure it is bug free prior to it being distributed. They perform both manual and automated testing and any experience specifically writing system tests in C++ is preferred. The consultant must have experience testing for handheld devices (not cell phones) that interact with computers. Need mid level experience – 5-7 years. Qualifications include:Proven experience performing firmware testing ideally on consumer productsExperience doing manual and automated testingAny experience writing system tests with C++ is also preferredUnderstanding of clean GUIGood experience with Jira or other bug testing software
