Quality Test Technician II - Calibration/Metrology Technician In this role, the successful candidate will support the Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit by ensuring the calibration and quality of precision measurement tools used in manufacturing at our growing Fort Worth, TX facility. Shift Hours: 1st Shift Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $35.75 Basic Qualifications: 1+ year experience in a related area in a manufacturing facility with ISO audit experience. Experience handling and calibrating tools and exposure to calibration management software (GageTRAK preferred). Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and related software. Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous. Experience preparing Microsoft Excel reports. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Completed High School Diploma and/or GED. Familiarity with CAD software. Responsibilities: Build and maintain accurate records in calibration management software for approximately 3,000 tools. Set up and prepare instruments and equipment for calibration procedures, ensuring accurate handling and storage of sensitive calibration standards. Monitor calibration status of tools, collecting past–due or defective tools for in–house calibration. Perform calibrations of various tools according to SOPs, including micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, wire crimpers, tape measures, custom fixtures, and digital equipment. Work closely with cross–functional teams (design engineers, production staff, quality assurance personnel) to resolve dimensional issues, improve product designs, and enhance manufacturing processes. Collect and organize data related to calibration status, product dimensions, tolerances, and quality metrics; maintain detailed records and prepare comprehensive reports.
