Overview Scaffold E&D Foreman position at Sunbelt Rentals. The role involves supervising and directing a crew to erect and dismantle scaffolding, ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA and Sunbelt procedures. Responsibilities Safely and effectively supervise a crew or supervise and direct up to three Foreman 1, each of whom may supervise up to three Lead Carpenters. Oversee the erection and dismantling of various types of scaffolding without direct and continuous supervision from the E&D Supervisor or E&D Construction Manager. Serve as the competent person on site as required by OSHA and per Sunbelt Competent Person Procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; combined experience as Scaffold E&D Carpenter, Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter, and Scaffold E&D Foreman 1 for a minimum of 5 years or approved equivalent experience. Trade school preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license. Project management skills, including time and schedule management, cost control, and customer communication. Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights. Bilingual a plus. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding. Understanding of various scaffolding materials to ensure loads do not exceed ratings. Strong problem-solving and on-site decision-making abilities. Physical Demands The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.
