Tel Hai has a wonderful opportunity for an Activity Assistant to join our Meadows Health Care Center team in meeting the social and recreational needs of our residents. This is a Full Time position working 10am-6:30pm, 80 hours/2 weeks including every other weekend and holiday; Off Wednesdays.

Activity Assistant Responsibilities include:

• Develops activities and plans & implements a daily schedule of programs and activities for residents.
• Conducts one on one visits and small group activities.
• Assists residents to and from meals and activities.
• Provides nourishment and hydration to residents.
• Assists at mealtime with feeding residents.

Requirements

Activity Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak/lead activities of large groups.
• Previous experience in a geriatric setting is preferred.
• Previous experience with individuals that have cognitive deficits (such as Alzheimer's) is preferred.
• Music, art, fitness, educational, or activity experience preferred.
