Registered Nurse (RN) - Evenings (3 PM - 11 PM)

Proactive Health Care Medicine has recently been awarded the contract to provide care to patients at the Onondaga County Jail . We're currently hiring strong Registered Nurses / RNs to join our team in Syracuse, NY. Come learn correctional healthcare as you use our cutting-edge resources, including our award-winning electronic operating system. NEW or RECENT RN graduates are welcome to apply.

Position Description:

Take and document all patient history and vital signs
Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment
Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement
Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff
