Packaging/Labeling Technician II

Packaging/Labeling Technician II at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Fisher Clinical Services division in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Performs manual and automated assembly, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products in regulated environments including refrigerated and frozen areas. Second shift, afternoon hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual or automated assembly, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products
- Apply GMP, SOPs, and customer requirements in all areas of responsibility
- Comply with safety regulations and conduct activities in safe and efficient manner
- Participate as active member of Practical Process Improvement initiatives
- Interpret batch paperwork and diagrams to ensure proper assembly of clinical supplies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Working mathematical skills including fractions and percentages
- Ability to interpret 2D diagrams and batch documentation
- Hand-eye coordination and fine motor dexterity
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- English language communication skills
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments (-20°C to 8°C)
