Packaging/Labeling Technician II

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Packaging/Labeling Technician II for second-shift work in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The role involves manual and automated assembly, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products in regulated environments, including refrigerated and frozen conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual or automated assembly, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures across primary, secondary, refrigerated, and frozen packaging areas
- Ensure all work meets quality specifications and regulatory requirements
- Participate in Practical Process Improvement initiatives and continuous quality enhancement
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Working mathematical skills including counting, fractions, and percentages
- Ability to interpret 2D diagrams and batch documentation
- Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity with attention to detail
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to work in cold storage environments (-22°F to 8°C)
