Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Insurance Agent role based in Willowbrook, IL, with flexibility for some work from home. The Insurance Agent will advise commercial trucking clients, small businesses, and individual customers on appropriate coverage options, including commercial auto, general liability, workers’ compensation, and personal lines. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing quotes, presenting coverage recommendations, and handling policy applications, renewals, and endorsements. The role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, responding to inquiries, resolving service issues, and coordinating with underwriting teams at multiple carriers. The Insurance Agent will also monitor industry trends, maintain accurate records in agency systems, and support compliance with regulatory and carrier requirements. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with a track record of advising clients on coverage options and closing new business. Experience in Insurance Brokerage and familiarity with working with multiple carriers to source competitive quotes and solutions. Foundational knowledge of Finance to explain premiums, deductibles, and coverage limits in clear, practical terms. Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and professional communication across phone, email, and in-person interactions. State insurance producer license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe), preferably in property and casualty lines. Comfort using CRM or agency management systems, and proficiency with standard office software tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities effectively.
