Interested individuals can explore offerings at the Sarasota showroom or online at Role Description The Outside Sales Representative (Commission-Based) is a full-time role located in Sarasota, FL that has aspects of remote and on-site work. This position is responsible for prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities, meeting customers at our Sarasota showroom, and presenting Sunzout Sarasota’s outdoor living products and solutions. Daily activities include conducting sales presentations, preparing quotes and proposals, following up on leads, and managing a sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, designers, and other trade partners, while providing knowledgeable product guidance and responsive customer service. The representative will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, timely delivery, and a positive customer experience. Qualifications Demonstrated strength in sales presentations and product demonstrations to diverse customer groups. Ability to build and maintain relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, designers, and commercial clients. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on responsiveness and follow-through. Clear, professional communication skills, both in person and in writing. Proven experience in new business development, including prospecting and lead generation. Prior outside sales experience, ideally in home improvement, building materials, or outdoor living products. Comfort working in a commission-based environment with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally for showroom visits. Ability to work on-site in Sarasota, FL.
