Job Description
Job Title: Family Medicine Registered Nurse

Profession: RN (Registered Nurse)

Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch; 4 days a week

Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinic experience; pediatric experience required

License: RN License

Certifications: BLS Certification

Must-Have: Pediatric experience; phlebotomy experience preferred

Description:
This position is for a standalone family medicine clinic.
The clinic also provides services in behavioral health, community health, and neurology.
The unit has a total of 25 beds/rooms with an additional 6 upstairs.
An average of 15 full-time providers and 5 flexible (PRN) providers operate in the clinic each day.
The clinic sees 120-150 patients per day.
RNs work alongside a provider and may rotate between different doctors throughout the week.
Same day appointments and walk-in care are available.
Common patient diagnoses range from neonates to geriatrics.
Responsibilities include well baby exams, well child visits, sports physicals, women's annual exams, and chronic disease management.
Experience with sports medicine and OB is beneficial but not required.
Job duties involve wound care, point-of-care testing, triage, and assisting with procedures such as vasectomies, circumcisions, and leaps.
RNs will also administer immunizations to patients of all ages, take vital signs, and conduct EKGs.
Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, is necessary.
The job is fast-paced and offers opportunities for outdoor activities in the local area.
The staff is described as helpful, welcoming, and supportive.
Voluntary weekend shifts may be available, but there is no required call or standby duty.
Scrubs of any color are acceptable, and hair must be pulled back.
Medical Assistants and LPNs are part of the care team.
