Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
• Monitor and assess patients on telemetry, responding appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
• Complete pre-start orientation modules prior to entering the facility
• Maintain availability to work every other holiday as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Current AHA-issued certifications required (BLS at minimum; specialty-specific certifications as applicable)
• Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Former permanent employees of the facility are not eligible to apply as travel nurses

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Two supervisor references preferred at time of submission
