ABOUT THE POSITION

The Ecommerce Operations Manager manages day-to-day operational execution across Gathr Outdoors' digital commerce channels, including Amazon, multiple Shopify DTC websites, and TikTok Shop. Amazon is the primary focus, with most of the business operating through Vendor Central (1P).

This hands-on role requires direct experience managing Amazon operations. Working closely with channel owners, the Ecommerce Technology Manager, and teams across Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Analytics, and Customer Experience, this person keeps products available, launches and promotions on track, and operational issues moving toward resolution.

The role translates commercial priorities into coordinated execution, with clear ownership, timelines, and follow-through across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Amazon operational activities across brands, primarily through Vendor Central, including account health, support cases, and issue resolution. Coordinate with Amazon operational support teams and agency partners, and support Seller Central operations where applicable.
• Partner with Planning and Supply Chain on forecast inputs, replenishment, inventory availability, and fulfillment issues; identify and escalate out-of-stock risks and excess inventory.
• Coordinate product launches, transitions, and discontinuations, ensuring inventory, product information, content, approved pricing, and channel requirements are ready.
• Execute approved Amazon deals, coupons, Prime events, and seasonal promotions; coordinate promotional readiness across DTC websites and TikTok Shop.
• Work with catalog, content, and channel teams to resolve listing issues, suppressed products, and other barriers to product availability and sales.
• Manage day-to-day operational execution across multiple Shopify DTC websites and TikTok Shop, partnering with channel owners and the Ecommerce Technology Manager on product setup, order and fulfillment issues, and platform troubleshooting.
• Maintain a shared operational backlog and calendar, making priorities, owners, deadlines, and dependencies clear; escalate competing priorities to the Senior Director.
• Coordinate resolution of operational and system issues with Ecommerce Technology, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Experience.
• Monitor inventory availability, account health, fulfillment, promotional execution, and other operational metrics; partner with Analytics and channel owners to identify issues and track corrective actions.
• Document workflows and improve processes to reduce recurring issues, manual work, and execution gaps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant ecommerce, marketplace operations, or account management experience, including direct responsibility for Amazon operational execution.
• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Vendor Central and the 1P business model.
• Working knowledge of Amazon inventory, replenishment, account health, promotional tools, and operational requirements.
• Experience coordinating projects across multiple teams, managing competing priorities, and following issues through to resolution.
• Strong analytical skills, including Excel proficiency and the ability to interpret sales, inventory, and operational reporting.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business teams, technical partners, and outside agencies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Amazon Seller Central and 3P operations.
• Experience supporting Shopify DTC operations and/or TikTok Shop.
• Experience working across multiple brands or product categories.
• Familiarity with ecommerce order flows, ERP systems, and fulfillment processes.
• Experience improving workflows and using project management or reporting tools.
