By joining us, you don’t just become part of our success story; you help shape the future and continue our rich legacy that started back in 1874.Join us as aSr Category Manager - Electric/Electronics Products & Components Your main responsibilitiesThe Senior Category Manager leads the E&E (Electric/Electronics Products & Components) sourcing category, focusing on cost savings, supply quality, and supplier relationship management, while implementing sourcing strategies like dual sourcing and volume aggregation to strengthen negotiation power. This role is responsible for driving process improvements, developing metrics, and applying best procurement practices, working closely with various departments to achieve continuous cost improvements across the value chain.Lead the sourcing strategy.Responsible for the overall savings projects deliverables and ensure projects milestones are achieved.Develop strategic sourcing initiatives by triggering the sourcing levers: dual source, volume aggregation, demand control, should costing, etc.Investigate all possible strategic actions to reduce supply exposure risks and mitigate inflation.Explore BCC opportunities.Conduct analysis on market, prices and risk development.Support the make vs buy process.Interact with the manufacturing organization in identifying and structuring innovative supplier contracts.Identify mission critical commodities that require scrutiny and planning, including hedging and other risk management tools.Ensure that the required planning and pre-negotiation processes are aligned with the business unit and corporate objectives.Provide regular projects tracking.What you bringBachelor's degree within relevant area of study10 years of prior, relevant experience Knowledge withinElectric/ Electronic Products & Components Hands-on experience driving strategic sourcing What’s in it for you?Fully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total eligible compensation.Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans - Effective from first day of hire.3 weeks’ vacation which increases with tenure, 7 sick days, 3 floating holidays and 8 Company Observed Holidays.Tuition Reimbursement - Eligible after 6 months of service.Parental Leave – 100% base pay for 6 consecutive weeks within first year of a child’s birth or adoption.A wide range of development opportunities to boost your professional and leadership growth.We Elevate… Your CareerFor Questions, please contact Kelly Sanders at View email address on click.appcast.io you ready to embark on a new journey?
