Details Cardiovascular Care Unit within a hospital setting 32-bed unit with an average of 3-5 patients per nurse depending on acuity and shift 3x12hr Day shifts, 0700-1930 Weekend requirement of up to 8 shifts in an 8-week period, typically 5-6 No scheduled on-call shifts, though may be placed on call at the start of a shift if not needed Floating to other departments required based on business need and date Uses Epic for documentation and UKG Pro/Kronos for timekeeping and scheduling 13-week contract, with potential for extension Requirements Active RN license, Colorado or Compact, required BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) required and must not expire before start date Minimum 1 year of telemetry or higher acuity nursing experience required EKG competency and rhythm interpretation skills required ASN required, BSN preferred Epic EMR experience required DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed Previous permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-747929.
