Preferred Experience Cardiac experience Previous Meditech experience Unit & Patient Population This is a progressive care unit caring for a diverse patient population, including: Elective orthopedic procedures Spine and joint surgeries GYN surgeries Post-operative surgical patients Post-cath lab patients Post-PCI patients Post-pacemaker patients Ablation and cardioversion patients Revascularization patients Stroke patients Chest pain Renal failure Respiratory failure CIWA patients Cardiac drips, including non-titrating drips and heparin Equipment & Clinical Environment Telemetry monitoring Post-operative monitoring Cardiac monitoring State-of-the-art unit ADA/Bariatric rooms In-room Hoyer lifts Unit Culture & Scheduling Excellent teamwork and collaboration Friendly and outgoing team environment Wide range of nursing experience among staff Modified self-scheduling process Schedules posted approximately 3 weeks in advance Flexible scheduling allows time to arrange shift trades when needed Why Apply?
