Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to property management and/or designated contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and document security-related incidents, daily activities, and/or property-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support a professional presence at a commercial real estate location by communicating clearly with occupants and guests and following post orders for routine operations and after-hours coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
