Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access and alarm-related activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.40 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support badge, entry, and/or departure procedures in accordance with site protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and relay important information during shift changes and to Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
