Direct Support Professional

Overview The Supported Living Group (SLG) provides non-medical, community-based, person-centered support services in Connecticut. We are headquartered in Danielson with program locations in Avon and Bethany. Schedule: Sunday 3pm–11pm; Saturday 9am–5pm (part-time or full-time positions available). Responsibilities Directly support individuals to promote independence and personal growth, including assisting with household chores and daily tasks. Drive to appointments as needed and provide transportation support. Assist with personal hygiene and daily living routines. Teach essential life skills such as grocery shopping and budgeting. Support development of routines that foster independence and self-sufficiency. Qualifications Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; flexible and adaptable. A commitment to the health and wellbeing of others. High school education or GED. Reliable transportation with a valid driver1s license, insurance and registration. Must be at least 18 years old and have a personal cell phone. Passion and willingness to learn. DCP Certification number: HCA0001097 (as applicable).
