Driver

Position Overview Performs safe and efficient transportation of patients both inside and outside of the hospital setting to predetermined destinations using appropriate equipment and vehicles, including but not limited to testing sites, nursing facilities, and home addresses. Education & Experience Minimum required: NA. Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred: Two (2) years’ driving experience. Preferred: Customer service, organizational, communication and time management skills. Preferred: Previous health care experience. License & Certification Minimum required: Current unrestricted driver’s license with two (2) years’ maintenance of any form of drivers license and evidence of a clean driving record. Preferred: Not applicable. Primary Department, Division, or Unit Patient Transportation and Linen Services, UHS Wilson Medical Center Work Shift & Hours Rotational shift. Regular schedule. Weekly hours: 20. Compensation Hourly: $17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience. This position is not eligible for benefits.
