Physical Therapist

Role Overview: Provides evaluation and treatment to patients primarily in Rehab and LTAC hospitals, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include conducting initial and discharge assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress in the EMR. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, educates patients, families, and staff, and communicates patient updates during clinical conferences. Key Duties Performs evaluations, sets goals, and creates treatment plans aligned with patient needs. Delivers timely, goal-oriented therapy sessions and provides education as needed. Participates in hospital and discipline-specific skills assessments. Serves as a mentor for interns and team member in clinical and professional development. Coordinates equipment orders, contacts vendors, and communicates with external physicians and professionals. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctoral Degree preferred. GA Physical Therapy license or eligibility; BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Minimum one year of experience in rehab, SNF, LTACH, or acute care settings preferred. Basic computer literacy.
