We are seeking a Full-Time APRN or PA, Neurointensivist to join our distinguished team!
This position offers an excellent opportunity for the right individual to deliver medical services at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX.
- Become part of a well-established team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Work in a Neurocritical Care Unit / Neuro ICU setting
- Enjoy an employed role within a nonprofit healthcare system
Provide comprehensive direct care by performing thorough patient histories, physical assessments, and preventive screenings to accurately assess each patient's health status.
Develop precise treatment plans by ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests, ensuring timely interventions and continuity of care under physician supervision.
Manage chronic health conditions through direct therapeutic interventions and detailed documentation, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient care experience.
Empower patients and their families by offering clear guidance on preventive health, treatment options, and community resources to enhance long-term wellness and self-care.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Nurse Practitioner credential from the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to hire or job transfer.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to hire or job transfer.
- BLS Provider certification preferred; accepted from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Drug Enforcement Administration credential preferred.
Education:
- Master's degree in Nursing required.
- Acute Care Certifications for all APRNs
- Critical care experience for all PAs
- BLS Provider certification preferred; accepted from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Drug Enforcement Administration credential.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
