Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Plant Operations ManagerReporting to the Business Unit Leader at our Council Bluffs, IA facility, local producers of Marie Callendar, Healthy Choice, Banquet products and more, you will lead plant operations and process improvement efforts by guiding teams to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost targets. You will identify and resolve production constraints, ensure resources are aligned to daily plans, and foster an engaged, team-oriented workforce that drives continuous improvement and business results.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesLead team members to execute daily production plans that meet quality, productivity, and cost standardsIdentify operational issues or bottlenecks and lead structured, team-based problem-solving efforts to resolve themMonitor production performance to ensure established standards are maintainedSupport employee development through training, coaching, and performance feedbackSupport oversight of sanitation and operations activities to maintain a clean, food safe manufacturing environmentEnsure adherence to plant rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresPromote and support plant and company safety programs and compliance with defined safety requirementsParticipate in development of daily plans and delivery of daily line performanceDrive execution and sustainment of standard work to achieve daily direction setting resultsLead shift handoff meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment between shiftsIngredients Required for Your SuccessBachelor's degree in a related field preferred3-5 years supervisory experience preferred.Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferredExperience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is a plusDemonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skillsPhysical RequirementsMore information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. You will be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.CompensationPay Range: $64,000-$95,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.
