Physical Therapist

This role involves planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments for patients with injuries or diseases affecting muscles, nerves, joints, and bones. The primary goal is to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability. Responsibilities include providing education and information to patients and caregivers. Participation in required discharge planning is essential. Completion of all required documentation according to policy is mandatory. Directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance is a key duty. The position involves performing 6 to 7 weighted visits per day. Weekend coverage is required for orthopedic cases every 4th or 5th weekend. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS rate. No previous license or background hits will be accepted. Candidates must have no history of fit test issues.
