Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe British Swim School is growing! We’re looking for a dependable, energetic Aquatics Manager to help lead the next stage of our growth across our three West Metro locations in Richfield, Eden Prairie and Minnetonka.You’ll lead and develop our swim instructor team while playing a key role in building a strong, consistent aquatics program as we continue to grow.This is a hands-on, part-time leadership position. You’ll teach regularly, spend dedicated time on the pool deck coaching and supporting instructors, talk with families, and maintain our teaching and safety standards.You’ll also take ownership of instructor scheduling and coverage. When last-minute absences happen, you’ll work to find coverage and must be prepared to step in and teach yourself when necessary. Keeping our lessons running reliably is a core responsibility of the Aquatics Manager.What you’ll doLead, coach and support our swim instructorsTeach swim lessons and step into classes when neededCreate and manage instructor schedulesTrain and onboard new instructors in the British Swim School curriculumObserve lessons and provide regular coaching and feedbackMaintain high standards for safety, lesson quality and customer experienceHelp recruit and interview new instructorsCommunicate with parents and resolve concerns professionallyTrack required instructor certifications and trainingDocument and respond appropriately to pool, customer and employee incidentsWork closely with the franchise owner to improve the overall aquatics programWho we’re looking forYou don’t necessarily need years of aquatics-management experience. We’re more interested in finding someone who is reliable, calm under pressure, organized, confident leading people and comfortable holding a team to high standards.Previous experience in swimming, coaching, teaching, aquatics, fitness, childcare or team leadership would be a strong advantage.
