Job Description
- Cut, trim, and prepare meat according to company specifications.
- Operate knives, meat slicers, grinders, and other processing equipment safely.
- Remove excess fat, bones, and unwanted portions from meat.
- Weigh and portion meat according to customer or production requirements.
- Inspect meat for quality, freshness, and proper appearance.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with food-safety standards.
- Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Package, label, and store finished meat products correctly.
- Maintain production quotas while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and workstations after use.
- Follow all company safety policies and report equipment or product issues to supervisors.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, refrigerated production environment.
