AI & Data Architect Location: Chicago, IL Onsite Rate: $70 $75/hr Duration: 6 Months Experience: 10+Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AI & Data Architect to lead technology strategy, architecture, roadmap planning, and target-state execution within a banking environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Generative AI, data architecture, banking/wealth management, Salesforce, nCino, Customer 360, and cloud AI platforms. This role will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to design secure, scalable, enterprise-grade AI and data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define technology strategy, architecture roadmaps, and target-state solutions.
• Design scalable Generative AI, RAG, multi-agent, Knowledge Graph, and Vector Database architectures.
• Develop solutions using Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, AWS Bedrock, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Define enterprise data architecture, Master Data Management (MDM), and data governance strategies.
• Design REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and integrations between legacy and cloud platforms.
• Lead AI/ML lifecycle management, including MLOps, LLMOps, CI/CD, and production deployments.
• Establish Zero Trust, data privacy, model risk management, and Responsible AI controls.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Work with senior executives and C-suite stakeholders on architecture and technology strategy.
• Support initiatives across Wealth Management, CRM, nCino, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), and Customer 360.

Required Skills

• 5 7 years of experience in AI/Data Architecture or Enterprise Architecture, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong Generative AI / GenAI architecture experience.
• Experience with RAG, Agentic AI/Multi-Agent workflows, Knowledge Graphs, and Vector Databases.
• Strong banking and Wealth Management domain knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM / Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
• Strong experience with nCino / Core Banking / Loan Origination platforms.
• Experience with Customer 360 ecosystems.
• Experience with Azure AI / Azure OpenAI / Copilot and/or AWS Bedrock.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, MDM, and data governance.
• Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, and cloud architecture.
• Strong technical leadership and executive stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to translate business strategy into technology architecture and execution plans.

Preferred Skills

• TOGAF or enterprise architecture framework experience.
• Hybrid cloud architecture experience.
• Experience implementing Responsible AI and model governance.
• Experience working with large banking transformation programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
