And we invest in our world-class team, empowering our colleagues to unpack their potential, because we believe when our people grow, so doesour business.To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit | LinkedIn | YouTubePurposeRepair and maintain a variety of facilities, production, and building equipment, along with related work involved in maintaining the building.ResponsibilitiesConduct regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and facilitiesMaintain control and motor systemsDiagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective partsPerform basic welding and fabrication as neededSupport & comply with safety & environmental guidelinesCommunicate daily with Production and Shipping ManagersSupport & comply with safety & environmental guidelinesDiagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective parts Communicate daily with the Plant Manager and Warehouse Manager to develop a daily list of priorities for the maintenance teamDrive 5S workplace organization in the maintenance area and support the initiative throughout the manufacturing and warehousing operationsResearch and purchase parts as needed for machine breakdowns and/or spare parts replacementImprove machine up time by ensuring all CM’s and PMs are properly performed and documented in MaintainXOther duties as assignedQualificationsBasic math skillsGood English language skillsWelding skillsStrong mechanical knowledgeStrong electrical knowledgeGood communication skillsAbility to troubleshoot & solve problemsAdvanced manufacturing mechanical experienceAdvanced manufacturing controls and wiring experienceBasic understanding of motor controls and ability to read wiring diagramsMS Office literateNo fear of heightsPrior experience working in a manufacturing environmentPrior process machinery trouble shootingPhysical DemandsRegularly required to stand, walk, communicate, see and hearRegularly required to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.Frequently climb towers up to 35 feet highRegularly required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch or bendStrong motor skillsOur ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
