If this aligns with your values and you want to join a leader in the banking industry, we are hiring for an Information Systems Security Officer that will be responsible for establishing and maintaining information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures, and for monitoring compliance therewith. Major Duties/Accountabilities Primary ownership and administration of an online user provisioning system Collaborates with various departments to integrate security measures into business processes Conducts regular security risk assessments Coordinates and implement the security awareness training program Coordinates the periodic review of user access rights with department managers Establishes security monitoring methodologies, perform periodic security reviews, and monitor outstanding vulnerabilities and patch status Establishes documentation and reporting, demonstrating secure server and network environments and compliance with documented standards Develops comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with financial industry cybersecurity frameworks and best practices Serves as the IT department liaison to external auditors and examiners for the purpose of audit preparation, evidence collection, and follow-up Collaborates with internal IT teams and auditors to review audit findings and implement corrective actions Complies with all banking laws and regulations, and maintains the confidentiality of bank and customer information Other duties as assigned Requirements / Desired Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree Well-versed in various information security frameworks, standards, and industry compliance requirements (NIST CSF, PCI, ISO 27002, CIS Baselines) Knowledgeable in the best practices of Cybersecurity management Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and have an eye for detail Good interpersonal skills and be able to work within and foster a team environment Effective communication skills, verbally and in writing, and across all levels Preferred CISA, CISSP, CISM, GSNA, or similar certification 5+ years of network audit and related Information Systems Security Officer experience The Major Duties/Accountabilities listed above are only a summary of the typical functions of this job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
