This position offers a flexible hybrid arrangement and genuine autonomy over an interesting civil defense caseload. A respected South Jersey litigation firm is seeking an attorney to handle matters involving general liability, construction, premises liability, automobile claims, product liability and professional negligence. Key Responsibilities: Manage civil defense cases from initial investigation through resolution Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions and legal reports Take and defend depositions Attend court appearances, mediations and arbitrations Work with clients, insurers and experts to develop litigation strategies Prepare matters for trial and participate in trials where appropriate Maintain clear and timely communication with clients Qualifications: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school 1+ year of civil litigation or insurance defense experience Strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage deadlines and an independent caseload Pennsylvania Bar admission, construction litigation experience or first- and second-chair trial exposure would be particularly valuable.
