Business Analyst - Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst - Remote position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Cleveland, OH, Brooklyn, OH, Buffalo, NY, or Albany, NY. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. Compensation: $90.00 per hour, W2, based on experience and qualifications.

Position Overview: This role will utilize industry trends to influence requirements for new application features and enhancements consistent with strategic priorities. The ideal candidate will translate complex business requirements into technical specifications for the development team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and an optimized user experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Significantly contribute to the design process to ensure it supports business requirements and an optimized user experience
• Capture requirements for a highly complex system and/or multiple systems across multiple stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and convey with appropriate level of detail to the development team
• Apply expertise of the business and work with technical and business teams to support business objectives
• Work with QAS to develop project testing strategy and support user acceptance testing
• Advise on security, risk management, and IT process principles

Core Requirements:

• Extensive experience in process improvement and evaluating current product quality and production methods
• Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services
• Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations
• Understanding of inter-team collaboration to achieve business results
• Effective communication, influencing, and strategic thinking skills
• High accuracy and attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis
• Experience with business process modeling and business data analysis
• Knowledge of the business aspects and operation of a software product
• Knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, and formal application delivery methodologies
• Familiarity with credit card platforms such as TSYS/FIS

Desired Skills:

• SQL proficiency to read and write queries and perform data mapping
• Big Query
• Miro or Draw.io
• Confluence
