SERVICE TECHNICIAN

We have some important positions, like this Service Technician opportunity, to fill with great talent in our Tampa, FL branch.POSITION SUMMARY
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair hydraulic systems and components both in the branch and off site (customers and other locations.)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components. Diagnose problems, prepare estimates for repairs. Repair and install new systems in the field. Keep work area/truck clean and organized. Maintain proper inventory on service vehicle. Maintain a professional image and relationship with customers. Identify new business opportunities while on customer premises.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcome. Skill to formulate a sound decision using available information. Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a task. Work at customer site in accordance with their work rules. Experience: Three years previous mechanic experience in hydraulics, diesel, or industrial equipment preferred. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college or technical school or certifications a plus.
