Volunteer Opportunities At Valley Behavioral Health Hospital
Valley Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking compassionate and dependable volunteers who want to make a positive impact in the behavioral health community. Volunteers provide valuable non-clinical support to our patients, staff, and hospital programs while gaining exposure to a healthcare environment.
Volunteer Activities May Include:
- Supporting hospital and community events
- Preparing materials for patient activities
- Assisting with engagement activities
- Helping with approved administrative projects and special initiatives
We're Looking For: Individuals who are dependable, respectful, compassionate, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries. Volunteers may be required to complete applicable background screening, orientation, confidentiality/HIPAA training, and other hospital onboarding requirements.
This is an unpaid, non-clinical volunteer opportunity. Volunteers do not provide patient care or replace hospital employees. Whether you're a student exploring a healthcare career, a retiree looking to give back, or simply someone passionate about helping others, we would love to hear from you. Qualifications Requirements:
- High School Degree preferred
- A working knowledge of behavioral health
