It is highly customer-facing and requires strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and a service-oriented mindset.If you are passionate about employee development, presenting effective training programs, and thrive in a collaborative work environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.ResponsibilitiesPrimary Focus — Device DeploymentDesktop and laptop deployment, including imaging, configuration, delivery, and end-user setupExecute the day-to-day work of the Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration, including device readiness assessment, upgrade scheduling, in-place upgrades, and post-upgrade supportBuild, test, and deploy standard Windows 11 workstation images using Microsoft Intune and Windows AutopilotProvision and enroll devices through Windows Autopilot, including hardware hash registration, deployment profile assignment, and Entra ID joinManage workstation hardware lifecycle activities, including new hire setup, scheduled refreshes, decommissioning, and asset record accuracyPerform user data and profile migration, including OneDrive and Microsoft 365 configuration on newly deployed devicesResearch, document, and package legacy and specialized business applications, including installation procedures, prerequisites, licensing, and configuration requirementsCreate and maintain deployment runbooks, installation guides, and knowledge base articles for repeatable IT proceduresGeneral End-User SupportProvide on-site technical support for end-user hardware, software, and peripheral issues, and remote support for users at other regional locationsTroubleshoot and support Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems and workstation configurationsSupport Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and ExcelManage endpoint configuration, patching, and remote support sessions using NinjaOne RMMSupport shared and kiosk workstations used by production floor personnelSupport label printers, thermal printers, and handheld barcode scanners used in manufacturing operationsSupport conference room audio/visual equipment and Microsoft Teams RoomsPerform user account support tasks including password resets, multi-factor authentication enrollment, and basic account administration in Active Directory and Entra IDRespond to, document, and resolve tickets in SolarWinds Service Desk within established service levelsDocument ticket resolutions in sufficient detail that other technicians can reproduce the fixEscalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff as appropriateFollow established IT policies, procedures, and security best practicesMaintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when supporting end usersQualificationsQualifications and Skills:Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience2+ years of experience in an IT support, help desk, or desktop support roleHands-on experience deploying, imaging, or configuring Windows desktops and laptopsWorking knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applicationsWorking knowledge of workstation hardware, printers, and peripheralsBasic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless connectivityDemonstrated ability to research unfamiliar software independently and document findings clearlyStrong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation for both IT staff and end usersAbility to lift and move computer equipment and to work in an active manufacturing environmentStrong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, or similar endpoint management and provisioning platformsExperience imaging, deploying, or refreshing Windows devices at scaleFamiliarity with RMM tools such as NinjaOneFamiliarity with ticketing systems such as SolarWinds Service Desk, and with IT asset management practicesExposure to Active Directory and Entra ID user and device managementExperience supporting Microsoft 365 environmentsExperience supporting manufacturing or production environmentsFoundational knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and controls, such as CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, or DFARS requirementsUnderstanding of proper handling of sensitive or controlled information in a regulated environmentCompTIA A+ or similar entry-level IT certificationPay Range: $55,000- $65,000This position is Onsite in Fridley MinnesotaAt Minco, we pride ourselves on our commitment to our employees.
